CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS

At Codala, we are committed to providing a safe environment for our community. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any content that exploits or endangers children, specifically Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

1. Zero Tolerance Policy

Codala strictly prohibits the creation, upload, sharing, or storage of content that depicts child sexual abuse or exploitation. Any account found engaging in such activities will be permanently terminated without notice.

2. Age Restrictions

To ensure a safe environment, Codala is strictly for users aged 16 and older. We implement age-gate mechanisms during registration to prevent minors from accessing the platform.

3. Content Monitoring & Detection

We use a combination of automated technologies and manual review to identify and remove illegal content:

• Automated Filtering: We employ hashing technology and automated filters to flag potential CSAM.
• Manual Moderation: Our team reviews flagged content and user reports to ensure compliance with our safety standards.

4. Reporting Mechanisms

Safety is a collective responsibility. We provide 24/7 reporting tools within the app:

• Users can report any suspicious profile or content via the "Report" button.
• All reports related to child safety are prioritized and reviewed immediately by our safety team.

5. Cooperation with Authorities

Codala complies with international legal requirements. When illegal content is detected, we take the following steps:

• Immediate removal of the content and permanent ban of the user.
• Preservation of necessary evidence in accordance with legal standards.
• Reporting the incident to the NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and relevant local law enforcement agencies.
